Accessible from most browsers, the new online filing (CMS) application stores your data and documents on a secure network hosted by the EPO.
Because the application is web-based, there is no software to install -- except for the smart card software.
No software installation means no software updates; the EPO carries out all updates centrally.
With the new online filing (CMS) application many routine tasks are automatic, saving you valuable time and reducing the risk of error.
And when you file an application, you will receive an online confirmation of receipt, including the date of receipt and an application number,
within a matter of seconds.
