You may enter up to four different search terms per search field
in both the advanced and simple search options.
Example:
To separate different search terms in the same search field from one another, you can use the operators AND/OR/NOT.
The default operator is "AND" for the following search criteria:
- Applicant
- Inventor
- Representative
- Opponent
- Classification (IPC)
The default operator is "OR" for the following search criteria:
- Date of filing
- Date of publication
- Priority Date
To group several words as one search term, you can use parentheses.
