What to do if your search produces only one result

 

If your search criteria finds only one document in the Register, the available data about the document is displayed in the following result screen:

What information is displayed?

The most recent events are listed first. The screen displays all bibliographical and procedural data mentioned in the Rule 92 and EPIDOS. It also displays changes published in the European Patent Bulletin, such as a change of applicant, change of representative, etc., indicating the year of publication and the number of the Bulletin issue in which the change was published.

The Search Report citations, as well as other citations, are shown at the end of the listing of each full record. The time and date of the search are also displayed at the end of the listing.

Can I display the information in different ways?

By default, data about the patent documents is that which is mentioned in Rule 92 of the European Patent Convention, and in the EPIDOS Information Register. To select a different view of the results:

  1. Click on the Choose your View box.

  2. Select a view from the drop-down list. The data is then displayed according to the new view.
