3.4 How can I check that the EPO has received my debit order?

When you use the Online fee payment service you can check straight away whether your order has reached its destination.

Any debit order sent via the Online fee payment service can be immediately viewed in the "Pending orders"
view under "Deposit Account". (Orders sent via the Online Filing software become visible after approximately 30 minutes.)

In order to retrieve applications for which you have sent off a debit order, you can search them via the search mask
provided in this view.
You can, for example, search using the application number. Alternatively, you can use the date on which you sent your debit order,
or the fee code, amount or your internal reference - whatever suits you best.

If you find your debit order back in pending orders, you know that the EPO has received it.

If you would like to have proof of receipt of your debit order for administration purposes, you can
  • print or download your pending orders in PDF format or
  • download them in XML format.
