Notes:

The information on PCT applications provided in the Register is available approximately four to five weeks after publication of the PCT patent application by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Before entering the regional phase in the European Patent Office 31 months after the priority date, the Register displays the bibliographic data of the PCT file as published by the WIPO.

The Register provides up-to-date information on the entry of the PCT file in the regional phase before the EPO. When the 31 months deadline is due, the Register indicates whether the applicant has performed any of the necessary steps to enter the regional phase, such as payment of the fees or filing the translation. The message: ACTS PERFORMED FOR ENTRY INTO THE REGIONAL PHASE 00/00/00 is displayed.

If the file does not enter the regional phase (if the applicant does not pay the necessary fees in due time or does not file the necessary translation), the PCT application is deemed to be withdrawn, and ensuing administrative work is necessary: approximately 33 months after the priority date.
