Downloading documents

Downloading in XML format

In the following data views, you can download the XML data of the current file: Main, Legal Status, Event History, Citations and Patent Family.

• Click the Download XML Data button and follow the prompts to save the document.

  The system creates an automatic file name, but you can change this if you wish.

  

Downloading in PDF format

Alternatively, in the All Documents view you can download selected documents in PDF format.

• In an All Documents view click the check box(es) to select document(s).

  

• Click the Download Selected Documents button and follow the prompts to save the document.

  The system creates an automatic file name, but you can change this if you wish.

  

• To view the selected documents open the file. In the PDF reader the document titles are displayed in the Bookmarks tab.
