General
Sequence Browser is the main widget for managing sequences in a project. Selecting any object in the Project Browser loads sequences for this project in the Sequence Browser.
The elements are displayed in a hierarchical view. In this tree, you can collapse and expand all the elements by clicking the buttons on the viewer toolbar.

You can also collapse and expand any individual element list.
Because the number of sequences can be enormous, not all sequences are displayed at the same time. The default limit set in the BiSSAP preferences is 500. There are four navigation buttons to help load different groups of sequences: First, Last, Previous and Next.

A Go To field helps you to navigate the sequences. When you enter a sequence identifier and press Enter, the group of sequences starting with the sequence with the typed-in identifier is loaded into the Sequence Browser.
In this viewer you can invoke create, modify and delete sequences and features. Additionally, you can import and export sequences.
List of elements
There are 2 types of list:
- feature list, called Features
- publication data list, called Publications

The lists display the number of elements they contain. The list elements are visible in the tree.
Creating features
The Sequence Browser allows you to create features. To create a feature, right-click on the sequence or right-click Features list under the sequence, then click Create Feature. A create dialog opens.

Removing elements

To remove an element, right-click the parent of the element. Then click the Delete <element type>. After answering confirmation dialog, the element is removed from the database and viewer.
Removing features from list

To remove all the elements from a list, right-click the list. Select Delete All Features from the pop-up menu. All the elements are removed, with the exception of the elements that cannot be deleted. Such elements include source features.
