You can invoke several actions in BiSSAP, i.e. add, modify or verify certain elements in the
BiSSAP database. This page provides an overview of all these actions, with a brief description
of each.
New project

and language of the file.

Import draft

Select Import Draft from the File menu.

Creates a new project. The content is imported from a special temporary draft file into the
internal database. This file has an XML-like structure, but it is not in the standard XML sequence
listing format. This file may be incomplete, since verification is not performed during the import.

Load sequence listing

Creates a new project with a name given by you. The project content is imported from the file
selected by you. The resulting project is verified. If there are any errors, the
Report Viewer opens.

Verify project

Right-click the project in the Project Browser, then select Verify Project from
the pop-up menu.

Runs a verification routine. If there are any errors, they are displayed in the Report View
window. If you click the error, an editor appropriate for correcting this error will open.
The progress indicator shows you how advanced the process is. The process can be run in the
background by pressing the button Run in background.

Verify all projects

You can verify all the projects in the BiSSAP workspace by choosing
Tools->Verify all projects

Batch verification

You can verify selected files from a single directory and its subdirectories by choosing Tools->Batch verification. A wizard guides you through the process of
selecting the directory and then the files.

these files into the BiSSAP workspace.

Export As Draft

Right-click the project in the Project Browser, then select Export As Draft from
the pop-up menu.

The content of the project is exported into a special intermediary draft file, which has an XML-like
structure.

This function is a means of sharing incomplete, i.e. currently incorrect, project data.
Do not submit this file to a patent office. It will be rejected.

Generate Sequence Listing
