What is BiSSAP?
Biological Sequence Submission Application for Patents, or BiSSAP for short, is a desktop application developed by the European Patent Office with funding from the EU-project FELICS to create and verify sequence listings. It also allows you to convert between sequence listing formats.
BiSSAP is aimed primarily at applicants and patent attorneys, but patent offices may also find some of the BiSSAP features useful.

- The file size is limited to the system capabilities. Very large sequences can significantly hinder performance.
