What is project metadata?
Project metadata refers to the following:
- project name
- invention title
- project language
- number of sequences
- file reference ID
- producer of the file
- receiving office.
This data is entered each time a new project is created, either via the Create dialog or by being read from the loaded sequence listing file. As such, metadata exists for every project and there is no special operation for creating it. Nor it is possible to delete it without removing the whole project.
Note that the number of sequences will be overwritten by any sequence-changing operation.
